The coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China, has killed at least 360 people and infected more than 17,000.<br />According to Business Insider, coronaviruses are zoonotic diseases. In other words, they jump from animals to humans.<br />Two new studies say both this virus and SARS originated in bats then jumped to people.<br />Also, the studies show the Wuhan coronavirus shares 80% of its genome with the coronavirus responsible for the SARS outbreak.
